What stood out for me was that I never ever thought that presenting was a science. I was under the impression that it was a natural thing for people. I suppose you can say lack of knowledge on my part, but now I see presenting with total new eyes. Selfish was my highlight as it part of a study journey I am busy with. It spoke to me personally. I have learnt how to hook an audience attention and now know how to do a proper introduction. How to handle tough and complex questions. Stage presence and better eye contact. How to handle distractions from the audience. How to facilitate discussions.

I have learnt about the gesture, posture, steps for preparation of speeches, how to deliver different kind of speeches. So much was learned that I can take back to my personal life: including right brain techniques to make content more interesting, research topics & not short sell content by just “winging it” & finally how sharing a bit about ourselves with clients can help build our credibility.

Structuring content, presentation skills, stage etiquette and posture of the presenter. For me I’ve always been very scared to speak and lacked confidence, but with the skills learnt from this course it will help me to come out of the shell and start speaking more. I also learnt techniques of capturing the audience with first words which is very important. I learnt that there are different tones required depending on what is being spoken.
This training is going to assist me in speaking more confidently to my clients and also being able to sell the more complex products to them because I have learnt how to create my own presentation models.
