There are many presentation books out there – but none that comes close to the content and delivery of this book! This book is packed with practical advice for all levels of speaking; whether you have just got started to speak (Newbie) or you have experience speaking and are now seeking more complexity (Advanced) or a professional speaker looking to refine your art (Expert).

I love how the author, Dineshrie Pillay has structured the book and each Chapter into the various levels of; Newbie; Advanced; and Expert. As a professional speaker myself, I am always looking for new insights and tools to aid my talks. This book, Ignition – 3 steps to drive from newbie presenter to expert speaker hooked my attention from the first chapter.

I have to say that it is very difficult to express the art of speaking and to unpack the process of putting a speech together from before, during and after an event in the medium of a book. In addition, due to the amount of knowledge that an experienced speaker is required to have, this topic can seem dense and heavy to digest. I need to give credit to the author on how this book has been so thoughtfully packaged.

Each chapter has a section for the Newbie, Advanced and Expert speaker. I was surprised at how much of extra pointers I picked up! A reader can easily pick this book up and grow their skill one step at a time since the book explains the process and includes a mix of stories, visuals, tables and checklist to make sure you get it right the first time.

I am suitably impressed with this book and I highly recommend it.
